Areal is proud to present 'Prion' the debut EP from duo S/N Measures:

"S/N Measures is a synthesizer duo of Luke Lund and Cecilia K. (Failed to Reach). By means of minimal electronics, their project taps into the far reaches and bleak aspects of submicroscopic biology. Matters such as virology, genetics and proteomics are of highest order - all organisms abide by the supreme capabilities of these agents. A single, so simple yet so complex entity could create a catastrophic failure no matter how perfect the host is. Mankind is able to engineer and reconstruct themselves on molecular level but much of this is still beyond comprehension of us..."

The debut EP "Prion" is comprised of a live improvisation session from August 2016 which was subsequently reconstructed and cut into three movements. They previously recorded the track "Ion" featured on benefit compilation for the late John Everall (Tactile) in 2014.
