"'Impacts, Reflections and Feedback' is a concept EP created from field recordings.

The idea was to capture a relatively limited range of urban sounds (electro-mechanical noise, people conversations, wind...) and turn them into a musical work that would create confusion and leave the listener with a mix of conflicting feelings and thoughts. This work echoes the darkness of the world we live in and the instability of the human condition.

By using various techniques of processing (layering, granular synthesis, time compression and expansion, pitch shifting, frequency filtering and shifting, phase shifting, delay, reverb, resonators...), the basic material is deconstructed to a point where it loses its characteristics and gets dissociated from its original meaning. Initially unambiguous sounds are shattered and disseminated endlessly.

The result is a collection of cold and dramatic soundscapes where space is developed through perpetual movement in an absurd way that echoes our own vulnerability.

The three words of the title are double-entendre."
